PROJECT BOOK 2 UPDATE: SECOND AND SOME THIRD EDITS ARE DONE AS OF MAY 2025
It’s quite draining to edit Part 1, as it captures raw emotions in words, describing the life and the world itself as unbearable and grotesque. I don’t know how readers will react to it, but it is clear to me that I cannot impose my writing style on anyone, a burden I have to deal with, which I am willing to accept. Changing my style feels like a betrayal of my art. The compromise ends when change is enforced on my truth.

The editing process for this second project is both meticulous and complex, yet surprisingly easy in some ways. Transitioning from writer to editor and finally to reader is a balancing act, with each role demanding a different mindset. Wearing these three hats can feel chaotic, but it’s also an exciting challenge.
Twenty-four pages in, and part one is done.
There’s one question I can’t answer: How many edits will this book undergo before reaching the editor’s assessment? I refuse to box myself in. This book will speak for itself. "I am done when I say so."

Project Book 2 UPDATE AS OF MARCH 2025
In real life, should this book have a redeeming factor, or should I just keep it real? Just a thought....
Project ULS:
COVID-19 undeniably altered the course of our lives. Two dark years forced us to confront the stark realities we had long ignored. Death, indiscriminate and relentless, knocked on our doors, claiming thousands without the chance for farewells. Death showed no mercy .
The lockdown made me realize one thing, the profound gift of time. How did I let millions of seconds in the past just go to waste? Courage embraced by time, I've done it, letting go of fears and doubts that once held me back from doing what I believe I am born to do. The first project —a compilation of soul-searching, truth-telling poems. A poetry collection exploring themes of birth, freedom, rebellion, acceptance, forgiveness, and rebirth.
When the draft is done, the hard work begins.
The mess in the process.
