PERIOD.

The period had been placed. Another manuscript is finished. But as long as we wake up each morning, more endings will come, more chapters will be written, and all these books about life deserve to be read. Else, why does this passion for the written word exist at all?  PURPOSE. THEREFORE, EVERYTHING WE CONCEIVE, EXISTS. Or, does it?

EDIT EDIT EDIT ... EDITORS HERE THEY COME!

Face-to-face with my editor is terrifying! It's my first time, and don't get me wrong, she is one of the nicest I've ever met. There is a sense of sensitivity in her words, and I greatly respect her for that. So how was the experience? Liberating and totally freeing from some of the burdens of a writer. So as of today, I have already found my line and assessment editors, and my dear manuscript, you're out of my hands. I allow these professionals to deal with all of your mistakes. LOL!

TIME OUT

I should start line editing this week. I did some work, but when I read it the nth time, I cannot connect with it deeply. This is the familiarity stage. I have to put the manuscript away for a few days and get back to it with a new set of eyes. So, blogging it is for today. Taking time out, all set for HALLOWEEN! :D

EDITING SEASON

September 2025, Crisp, chilly wind of Bergen autumn is settling in.. I love the atmosphere of autumn! I'm now one-fourth of the way through the fifth edit of my second book project, Summit 😊, and despite the hectic schedule at work, I’m deeply grateful for the 2–3 hours I manage to carve out in the early mornings before the 9-5 begins.
